The first day of school has come around again. The first day of summer break seems like so long ago, but I feel like it was over in the blink of an eye at the same time! Gracie started Thursday, I had my first day of teaching Thursday, and Michaela goes for her first Early Childhood day of the year on Tuesday! Since my first day was the same as Gracie's, I didn't get to bring her. :( But, Michael did, and Gracie thought that was lots of fun. She got into the car after school so excited about how much fun it was and how nice her teacher was! This is going to be a great year!
On another note, we got to go to the Springfield Cardinals game with my parents and sister, and a couple hundred other Northside Christian Church-ers. We had such a good time! We ate hotdogs and chips, spent a small fortune on some coke and popcorn, and had a great time just all being together! They had a great fireworks display at the end that the girls liked....although Michael had to cover Michaela's ears because she didn't like how loud they were. All in all, it was a great evening!
I am at 24 weeks pregnant as of today. Apparently, the baby is a little over 12" long according to the internet and his little home is now not so little and about the size of a soccer ball. :) We picked our our baby bedding. We are IN LOVE with it. Can't wait to get started on the nursery! Baby Barr is becoming quite active....I have felt him moving all day today; although, almost every time Michael tries to feel him he decides to hold still! We have a pretty good idea of what his name is going to be, but we are keeping it to ourselves for right now.
