Hi everyone. We had a wonderful mini-vacation to Branson. We were a little nervous about how it would go with a very busy 2 year old and a still-nursing all of the time almost 6 month old (Wednesday! She turns 6 months old! Where is the time going?) Anyways, it was smooth sailing and both of the girls did awesome at being away from home. We stayed at the Radisson and Thursday spent most of the day in the hotel pool and relaxing in the room, taking naps, reading, and Gracie watched lots of Disney (all new to her since we don't have satellite). Friday we spent most of the day at Splash Country Inn. For those of you not real familiar with Branson, it is a hotel that has an indoor waterpark. We only paid 15 dollars each for a full day there...way better price than White Water and everything was more geared towards little kids. Gracie had such a good time! By the end of the day she was a wild woman on the slides...going down backwards, on her belly, on her back, etc. Daddy and Mommy had a pretty good time on the slides too if truth be told. Michaela could have cared less but dang, she looks cute in the pictures! :) And, to top it all off we ran into some good friends from church who were at the Splash Country Inn so we got to have dinner with them. Saturday was Michael's birthday so we met my family at the lake and spent the day on the boat! All in all, it was a great weekend. This morning when we got up, Gracie said, "I want go 'cation!" Me too sweetie, me too! :)
Michaela is sitting up by herself pretty well. Still have to sit down by her because she gets excited and falls over but she is doing pretty good with it. Gracie is as sassy as ever. She knows what it means when I ask her if she wants a "spanking." The other day I was on the phone and she was acting up, I gave her "the look," and she said loud enough for the other person to hear..."Don't hurt me mommy!" Oh good grief!
She also has found her indpendence. "I do it myself!" So now everything takes twice as long because she has to do it all by herself. She is too funny!

Michael & Amanda,
These pictures are soooo cute. It looks like everyone enjoyed the vacation and Grace in particular. (a good place for families). Michaela is growing so much and always seems to be so happy. Looks like Grace enjoys the water.
Michael I thought of you Satruday (birthday boy).
Talk to Later and keep those notes and photos coming.
Love to all of you,
Grandma Marilyn
Aren't two-year-olds great? Love the pictures-hard to believe how big they are getting!
