Hi everyone. We hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. Ours was great. We celebrated yesterday by going to Silver Dollar City with our best friends and all of their kids. Michaela stayed with my mom and dad and enjoyed having them all to herself. There were 8 adults and 7 children 3 and under! We had our hands full but we had a really good time, and thankfully we didn't get rained on. It wasn't terribly busy either..I guess because people were headed home. But, when we first got there it was great b/c there wasn't hardly anyone there. We didn't have to wait in lines for rides which was nice with a 3 year old. We took Gracie on the 'Great American Shootout,' which is a boat ride where you ride through a "jail" with all kinds of crazy things in it that have bulls-eyes that you shoot at all of the way through. Gracie liked it as long as she was plastered to one of us. We got to ride it twice in a row without getting off since there wasn't anyone else in line. You can't beat that!

Michael and Gracie hung out on the front porch of the taffy shop:
After that, we headed down to the kid-ride area where Gracie rode the flying elephants again, and the ladybugs...but was absolutely NOT interested in the frogs. She was a little traumatized from last time I think.
They were having the BBQ festival there so for lunch we crowded around a little table and at lunch.

Then we took a train ride and took up three rows:
On our way out, we stopped at the taffy shop and filled up a bucket to take home with us:
And, as a last impulse buy, bought Gracie a huge pickle. She was in heaven!

Oh my gosh that pickle Gracie is eating looks so good! I am up way too late having pregnancy cravings! I might have to dig through my fridge and find some pickles now!
