Sunburned and happy

Hi everyone. We have had a lovely day outside. We started our day by going to church. Gracie had a good time in her class saying "mine" before everything. Her teacher said she went around saying to the other kids, "My shirt, my cup, my hair" while pointing to her shirt, cup, hair, etc. She evidently wasn't hateful about it, just wanted everyone to know what belonged to her.

We had a cookout at my grandmother's house where we played outside all day. Gracie chased bubbles, kicked the ball, ate on a big blanket, and looked books underneath a nice tree that is sadly not really blooming out yet with big leaves. Hopefully soon. As a result of the lack of shade, Gracie's cheeks are a little pink, and my legs from my middle thigh down are bright red. Not too bad until darling Gracie wanted my attention and slapped my knee!

This week Michael is going to finish the fence and we are going to get the swingset. We finally got enough money between birthday money, Michael mowing a few yards, and me doing a custom scrapbook for a friend for her son's first year. Kind of thinking about doing more custom scrapbooking for people if I can find the right market around here to make it worth my time. Just thinking...Any opinions?
